1. The influence of the medium, the medium that the ball mill often crushes includes various mine materials (manganese ore, copper ore, tungsten ore, chromium ore, etc.), various types of stone materials (limestone, granite, gneiss, basalt, lime dolerite, etc.), Coal used in the power industry. The hardness index of the medium is an important basis for determining the wear and failure of the liner. The higher the hardness, the shorter the service life of the rubber liner of the ball mill, and vice versa, the longer the service life. The fuel coal of the thermal power plant is the main grinding medium of the ball mill. The grindability coefficient of raw coal in various parts of the country is generally between 0.8 and 2.0. If too much gangue, sand, and stone are mixed into the coal, not only the calorific value is insufficient, Moreover, poor grindability will inevitably cause premature failure of the liner.

Influenced by the design, manufacture and installation quality, the liner has roughly two functions, one is to protect the cylinder, and the other is to lift the steel ball to the required height at a specific speed, so that the steel ball falls in a waterfall shape to achieve the ideal Grinding effect. The manufacturing quality of the ball mill rubber liner is poor, such as unevenness, deformation of the cylinder wall, incompatibility between the liner and the liner, between the liner and the cylinder wall during installation, and its own casting defects, mechanical properties and chemical components that do not meet the qualified requirements, etc. These are the direct factors that affect the normal operation of the ball mill.

Influenced by working conditions, abnormal discharge rate, improper adjustment, and empty warehouse operation state, some steel balls directly rub and hit the cylinder liner, forming two-body wear. In this case, the liner and steel balls are broken. The chance of wear is greatly increased, which is a very bad way of operation. When the defects are not eliminated in time, for example, the bolts are loose and fall, and individual liners break and fall off. If the defects are not replaced in time, the defects will gradually expand, which will affect other liners and cause the cylinder to deform.
4. The impact of the rubber lining material of the ball mill. From the analysis of the physical properties of the lining material, the main parameters affecting the anti-wear effect are the matching of the two major indicators of hardness and impact toughness. The material has high hardness and good wear resistance. The above is a proportional relationship. Since the ball mill is in operation, the steel balls fall in a waterfall state, which will generate an impact energy on the material and the lining plate. The impact energy depends on the diameter of the steel ball and the diameter of the grinding cylinder.
