  • Product Introduction

Slurry Pump Parts include impeller, pump body, pump cover, rear guard plate, shaft sleeve, positioning sleeve, water seal ring, packing gland, packing box, bracket, auxiliary impeller, pressure relief cover, labyrinth ring, etc.

The main flow passage components of the slurry pump are the pump body, impeller, and volute. The impeller device in the pump body is located on the shaft and connected to the motor to form a whole. When the motor drives the impeller to rotate, the blades in the impeller force the fluid to rotate, thereby forcing the pressure potential energy and kinetic energy of the fluid to increase. At the same time, under the action of inertial force, the fluid flows from the center to the edge of the impeller, and flows out of the impeller at a high speed, passing through the discharge pipeline for transportation purposes. Slurry Pump Parts are generally made of metal and rubber. The commonly used metal materials for slurry pumps are divided into cast iron, ductile iron, high chromium alloy, stainless steel, and so on. Rubber materials are divided into natural rubber, synthetic rubber, nitrile rubber, etc. Industrial cast iron generally has a carbon content of 2% to 4%. Carbon in cast iron mostly exists in the form of graphite, sometimes also in the form of cementite. In addition to carbon, cast iron also contains 1% to 3% silicon, as well as elements such as manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur. Alloy cast iron also contains elements such as nickel, chromium, molybdenum, aluminum, copper, boron, and vanadium. Carbon and silicon are the main elements that affect the microstructure and properties of cast iron.
